Signs of a Urinary Tract Infection for a dog?

The bloody urine can definitely be from the UTI, but if your doggie also has eye problems, make sure he did not develop diabetes. It is quite common in dogs. It can put him into renal failure (cause kidney damage and bloody urine) and make him blind. I am not a vet, but I went to medical school. So I would imagine that diabetes in dogs would be about the same as in humans. Good luck, I hope he gets better.
