Car starts/runs fine, but ignition gets jammed when you try to take key out?
Like you said, you need a new ignition. It does this because something in the ignition that reads/ takes the key is worn/bad causing it to get stuck. The only thing you can do in the mean time is leave one key in the ignition at all times and bring another key with you to lock and unlock the car. When you go places you have to be careful and you must park in a secure place or you risk having your car stolen. All someone has to do is notice a key in the ignition, break into your car start it and drive it. Get this fixed as soon as possible. On some makes and models of vehicles this is common problem. My Dads 2000 Chrysler van did this and my Uncles 1999 Dodge van did this. I am not sure about the price, but I think my Dad had to pay around $300 to fix this, so expect to pay $300-400 for this. Good Luck.
