How do I stop my dog from eating poo?

I have a 7 month Shih Tzu male puppy. I got him from a pet store... He lives in a playpen and i take him out regularly to exercise... He uses a pee oad and we feed him dog food from the brand "Nutrience". However, he eats his poo... How do I stop him from eating his own poo??
