Root chakra pulls?! why?

I am being told that this feeling you are getting is the beginning of your Kundalini activation. It starts at the base of your spine (the root chakra), and it will progress on up...But when you feel it with your friend, it is actually helping you to stand grounded. So this is not a scary thing at all. Your body is just going through spiritual/energetic changes at this time. fyi
