What does it mean if your period blood is bright red?

ok so ive had my period for 3 days now and this is the 4th. it was a week late and when it came, for 3 days it was dark reddish brown, now when i used the bathroom this morning, there was bright red blood in my pee, and when i wiped it was bright red, and now i have cramps. i didnt have any ..... so it this normal?!?!?!?! plz help!
