Why does cannabis help me pee?

i do not smoke it anymore because its illegal for me now but wen i used to smoke it i remember going to the bathroom again and again which was a good thing for me because i always have problems with urinating, feeling full but yet cannot pee, but for my friends it did the exact opposite
